FAQs

What ingredients are used in your products?

We take pride in using natural ingredients in about 95% of the products we create. Our products are carefully made with ingredients such as beeswax, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, arrowroot powder, baking soda, cornstarch, shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and other naturally derived ingredients.

On rare occasions, we may use non-natural ingredients when necessary for product stability, safety, or performance, but we always keep these to an absolute minimum. Our goal is to provide products that are as natural, gentle, and skin-friendly as possible while still maintaining quality and effectiveness.

What different kinds of wax do you use?

What types of wax do you use in your candles?

We use a variety of high-quality waxes depending on the candle style, design, and scent performance needed. These include soy wax, soy wax blends, and paraffin wax.

Soy Wax

Soy wax is a natural wax made from soybean oil. It is known for its clean burn, smooth appearance, and excellent scent throw. Soy wax is also popular because it is renewable and burns slower than many other waxes.

Examples of use:

• Jar candles

• Wax melts

• Container dessert candles

• Aromatherapy candles

Soy Wax Blend

Soy wax blends combine soy wax with other waxes (such as paraffin or coconut wax) to improve scent throw, durability, and the overall finish of decorative candles. This allows us to create detailed designs while still keeping many of the benefits of soy.

Examples of use:

• Decorative candles

• Highly scented candles

• Layered or whipped candles

• Novelty and specialty candles

Paraffin Wax

Paraffin wax is a highly refined wax commonly used in candle making because of its strong fragrance performance and ability to hold vibrant colors and detailed shapes. It is especially useful for specialty and novelty candles.

Examples of use:

• Molded candles

• Novelty candles

• Highly detailed design candles

• Bakery-style candles

How long do candles need to cure before they can be used?

Curing allows the fragrance and wax to fully bond together for the best scent and burn performance.

Typical cure times:

• Soy candles: 7–14 days

• Soy blend candles: 5–10 days

• Paraffin candles: 3–7 days

Although candles may look ready sooner, allowing them to fully cure helps ensure the best fragrance throw and overall quality.

When will my candle be ready?

Most of our candles are ready to use within 1–2 weeks after they are made, depending on the wax type and candle size.

Why We Choose Our Candle Waxes

Why do you use different types of wax instead of just one?

Each wax has its own strengths. We choose the wax based on what will give you the best experience in scent, appearance, and burn quality for that specific candle design.

Why do you use soy wax?

We use soy wax because it is a more natural option that burns clean and slow. It works especially well for container candles and candles meant for relaxation and everyday use.

Why do you use soy wax blends?

Soy blends allow us to create stronger scent throw and more detailed designs while still keeping many of the benefits of natural soy wax. This helps us make specialty candles like dessert candles and decorative candles look beautiful while still performing well.

Why do you use paraffin wax?

Paraffin wax is sometimes the best choice for highly detailed, novelty, and sculpted candles because it holds shapes, colors, and fragrances very well. When we use paraffin, it is because it gives the best result for that specific candle style.

Are your candles safe?

Yes. All waxes we use are candle-grade and specifically made for safe home use when proper candle care instructions are followed.

Do you prioritize natural ingredients?

Yes. Whenever possible we choose natural or naturally derived ingredients, and we only use other materials when necessary for safety, structure, or performance.

Why do candles need time to cure?

Curing allows the wax and fragrance to fully bind together. This improves scent strength, burn time, and overall candle performance. While it may be tempting to burn a candle right away, patience gives you the best experience.
